On New Heights

A platformer / precision racing level made in POLYTRACK.

-On new Heights is a level made for a racing section within a 3d platformer, or as a fun minigame within a high-speed racer.

-The goal of this level is to be slightly annoying at first, until the player gets a grasp of the new mode of traversal (either the driving itself, or the fact that this stage does not require high speeds).

-The jumps and manoeuvres should get progressively harder.

-Visually, the level is designed around a central vertical «tower» which the player must climb. The track circles the tower, giving the player multiple chances to appreciate the vista.

-The track must have a tutorial area.

-The track must have branching paths.

-The track must have a secret.
